Charlie and the chocolate factory title sequence- Charley

Charlie and the chocolate is a very well known movie, loved by all ages. The movie follows the journey of the five winning choclate bars that will be distributed all over the world and five lucky winners will win the chance to visit Willy Wonkas chocolate factory. The title sequence shows the process that the chocolate goes through, giving the audince a real taster of what the film intales.

The main colours of the title sequence are, gold (the colour of the winning ticket.) brown (the coulor of chocolate.) and purple (the trademark colour of Willy Wonka and his chocolate.) The title sequence has been put together carefully, revealing about how the chocolate is made but in a very undersated way so that the best (Wonkas chcolate factory and the mashines inside) are not revealed, they keep the audience wanting to know more aboout how his chocolate is made.

The movie is protrayed in a very amazing and unreal way, that of which none of the audience would have experienced themselves. The chocolate is made by massive mashines and carried to the 'Wonka trucks' by parachutes, this a very unreal and dream like situation which keeps the audince intreged as it is nothing they have experienced before.

Music plays a big part in the title sequence as in my opinion it tells the audience in a subtle way that what is happening in the movie is strange in an amazing way, such as the ompah lumpahs who as we all know are not real but keep us in awe as it is not something we have experienced before and is strange to us. The music is in the style of childrens music however the frequency is turned up to make the music strange and gripping, suggesting that what is happening in the movie is something special.
