One Hour Photo Opening - Meg

This opening is on the college K drive, and I decided to write about it because it's quite close to our project and we will probably use something similar to it. As the titles come in, they flash, like the photo process that the film is about... This goes with the whole film's theme of a man in the developing process of photo's, and also goes with the title. Our film name is 'Snapshot' so the flash and sound of a camera would be a really good idea to incorporate into our piece. The titles slowly disappear after the flash, which represents the photo being taken and then disappearing? The whole of the screen is black, except from the writing and the flash that comes up with the writing. The title is positioned in the middle of the frame, but slides in from the left and out of the right, and this is effective because it is central and represents the photo. The music is very sinister and adds an eerie feel to it, which is a typical convention of thriller films.
