- We started editing earlier this week, and we decided that we needed to reshoot certain shots from our first scene. So we got permission to film today, in order to reshoot these. We decided when filming to get as much footage as possible, and this time we also played all of our footage back to watch so that we could see if we had made any msitakes or needed to reshoot. However, shooting the house scene the first time, though we did try to get as much footage as possible, we didn't get enough variety of shots. To do this it meant we had to change location, which actually ended up working perfectly. The first house scene was shot in my house, but when we did some reshooting we went to Charley's house for the living room part. The mis-en-scene was actually much better in Charley's house, as the furniture was much more modern and sophisticated, therefore it conforms to the type of character that we are aiming; which is already implied within her wardrobe.
- When we were shooting the cliff scene, we got one shot where we had our bags within the frame. Luckily, we played back most of our footage and so we spotted the mistake and were able to reshoot straight away. However, this made us be much mroe careful with our other shots, and now we also make sure that we shoot most of our shots twice; the important ones three or four times, in order to make sure that it is the best that it can be.
