ROMEO AND JULIET.
at the start of the of the sequence the camera zooms in on the tv as the woman repaeats a fanmous romeo and juliet line. The tv holds connotations of the moderness of the new film. The audience csn relate to what the woman is saying as it is a famous shakespear line. Secondly the camera pans out onto the 'city' again, this shows the moderness of this film compared to the old one.
As the camera is being tracked above the city everywhere are the names 'capulet' and 'montague' this signifys that they are rivals and are competeing as both names are everywhere, it also shows there wealth as they thier names are being advertised in the city.
The shots then range from character to character, fimilirsing the audience with the old characters however introducing thier moderness. Then the shots turn to quick flashes of the movie whilst non diagetic sound of famous quotes from the story are played over thetop, this created fast pase and sums up the movie in the title sequence giving the audeince a taster of what is about to come. The fast pase has connotations with excitment therefore makking the audience excited to see movie.
